Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

Who we are in this policy

“We” means the operator of startalliance.net. This policy explains what happens to personal information in connection with the Startalliance blog. Newsletters, analytics, advertising and affiliate links are described as conditional, meaning they matter only if enabled. Direct privacy questions to [email protected].

Server logs

When someone opens a page, our hosting environment normally notes the IP address, device and browser details, the page requested, the referring site and the time. The purposes are stability, security and a broad view of readership. We do not build profiles of identifiable visitors from it.

Cookies and measurement

We may use cookies, local storage or pixels to keep preferences, measure traffic, display advertising and attribute visits from affiliate links. If analytics or advertising is active, the providers can apply identifiers of their own.

Your browser lets you refuse or delete cookies; some features may then stop working, and other tracking methods may remain. We treat Global Privacy Control and comparable opt-out signals as binding where the law says so. A Do Not Track setting has no uniform legal effect.

Contacting us

Emails and form messages give us your name, address and message content. We use them to respond, to assess corrections and to keep a record. Please avoid including confidential company information, investor details or personal data about other people.

Newsletter

If we publish a newsletter, we use your email address to deliver it and apply your preferences. The mailing service may record delivery and opens. A link in every issue lets you unsubscribe, after which we hold only a short suppression entry.

Advertising, affiliates and third-party services

Ad partners may collect device and browsing data to display and evaluate adverts, which some laws classify as sharing or targeted advertising. Affiliate links may pass referral information to a merchant or network. Embedded media can communicate with its source when loaded. Companies supplying hosting, security, email and analytics process data on our behalf or under their own notices.

We may disclose information where the law demands, to prevent fraud or harm, or when the blog is transferred to another operator. Websites we link to maintain separate policies.

Retention, security and transfers

We keep personal information while it remains needed for its purpose or for legal reasons and then delete or anonymise it. Reasonable measures protect it, but no service is entirely secure. Providers may process data in other countries, and where the law requires, safeguards apply to those transfers.

Exercising your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction or deletion, ask us to limit or stop certain uses, or opt out of sharing for advertising. Write to [email protected]. We may verify your identity in a way suited to the request and will not discriminate against you for making it.

Minors

The blog addresses adults. Personal information from children under 13 is not knowingly collected, and we will delete any that comes to our attention.

Updates

When this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a fresh effective date, plus further notice where required.
